Job Overview:
We are a patient-focused periodontics practice seeking a dependable and professional Patient Care Coordinator to manage scheduling, patient communication, and treatment coordination. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced dental environment and enjoys patient interaction.
You will serve as the primary in-office front office lead, working alongside a Virtual Front Office team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a productive and accurate schedule.
- Greet patients; check in/out; collect payment.
- Answer calls, emails, and texts; schedule and confirm appointments.
- Review treatment plans, insurance estimates, and patient portions.
- Support insurance processes as needed.
- *Duties may be modified based on practice needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, patient-focused demeanor.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office.
- Comfortable with technology and office software.
- Typing speed 50+ WPM.
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dental front office experience.
- Knowledge of periodontics and dental implants.
- Dental PPO insurance experience.
- Eaglesoft experience.
- X-ray license.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
